Can someone provide me with some specific information as to the correct settings to allow Passive FTP data and commands through the firewall on a SA540? The 540 is on the server side of the connection and the FTP is FileZila running on a fixed IP. XP computer. I've read everything I can about this but there are still some mysteries.
My name is Diego and I am part of the Small business Support community. I have seen your post and I understand that you would like to configure the firewall on your SA540 so that allow the FTP traffic. Let me share with you the information related to firewall configuration found on the Guide me section.
In order to allow the FTP traffic, you just need to specify the service section as HTP and the port as 21.
