SSL certificate is signed with weak hash function: MD5

Hello,

We recently had our SR520 scanned in preperation for processing Credit Card payments. We failed the security check with the error mentioned in the subject. I can't seem to find a way to change the default Hash from using SHA1 to SHA2. Can any one point me in the right direction? Our version of the CLI is 12.4

Thanks in advance,

Robert

I don't believe this is going to be a setting in the device.  If you're using the default SSL Cert that came with the device, then it was probably signed with the MD5 Hash.  If so, you'll need to get another cert from a CA and upload it to the device and ensure that cert is signed with a strong enough hash to pass PCI.
