Dear all,

I just received my 2 units of NSS 326 (with 10TB: 2 x 5TB). The goal is to backup one on the second one. RAID 5 is used.

Both are connected on the same LAN and on a server 2K8 R2.

The server and NAS are connected together using iSCSI (terminator)

I want to use the Backup \ Remote Replication to make a copy between both NAS.

With this tool, it seems that only shared folders can be replicated. Can you confirm that?

Is it plan to support iSCSI to use the Remote Replication?

Do you know a link which explains how to copy a NAS NSS 326, to another one (if possible iSCSI copy)?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Robin

Robin,

Little confused on why you would want to use ISCSI for remote replication. When you're using ISCSI the target is controlled by the ISCSI initiator. You really want to keep these units separate, that way you don’t have a single point of failure. That being said you really should just use remote replication. If you would like some assistance on setting up remote replication please give us a call @ 1-866-606-1866

Thanks,

Jasbryan
