System Logs keep information regarding all the activity occurring in a network device. These logs are useful for any network administrator because, in case of a failure in the network, the administrator can look at the system logs and and see what went wrong and at what time, which helps her/him to make a better troubleshooting decision. on the other hand, Statistics maintain a record of the current network activity (packets received, sent, dropped). These statistics inform the administrator about the overall performance of your device. This document offers information about System Logs and Statistics on RV016, RV042, RV042G, and RV082 VPN routers, which is critical to understand for administration and troubleshooting purposes.

As  you can see, ports 1 and 2 are reporting 1 to 4 gb of traffic. Yet the  Internet stats show only 56 kb max... seems to be badly broken.

And  is there no way to know the time period of the data counts or reset  them? It is rather pointless without knowing the window of time the  traffic occured in.
