Quality of Service (QoS) is useful in networks where traffic prioritization is desired. With QoS you can separate traffic and give priority to specific types of traffic such as video or audio applications, or any other data traffic, according to your network needs. You can assign higher bandwidth to a specific portion of your network, where data traffic is higher, and reduce bandwidth to a portion of your network where data traffic is low, hence, increasing your network efficiency.
