We have to Cisco RV016 routers set up and both sitting behind routers provided by our ISPs. However, on both the routers (provided by the ISP) the DMZ mode is set so the Cisco routers are exposed to the internet. We managed to set up a gateway to gateway vpn connection. The individual hosts on local and remote LAN's can ping the respectively ping their remote gateways but can not ping the hosts on the remote LAN. Is there something we are missing out?
Both networks are on seperate subnets.
1 - 192.168.3.0 / 255.255.255.0
2 - 10.0.0.0 / 255.255.255.0
The gateway on one end is 192.168.3.1 and on the other end is 10.0.0.1 and both can be pinged, but the issue is with pinging the hosts on both subnets.
