Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an application protocol that manages the different devices on a given network. SNMP stores information about the activity of each device in the network, which provides the network administrator with information about each device to better manage and troubleshoot any problem in the network. The Sx500 Series Stackable Switches offers different SNMP features that you can configure via the Graphical User Interface (GUI).
