Spanning Tree Protocol Configuration on Sx500 Series Stackable Switches

STP eliminates multiple paths to the same destination, hence, it provides a loop-free topology. STP configuration is important since it avoids loops, which increases the overall performance of the network. Without STP, multiple loops in a network can bring down the network. STP also offers security as you can manually block or open a specific port to satisfy your network needs. The Sx500 Series Stacakable Switches offers different flavors of STP. This document offers the articles which explain how to configure STP on the Sx500 Series Stackable Switches.
