I have bought a C887VA-W-E-K9 from a company which has now disappeared (it was used internally, it is not a reseller). Bankrupt.
This device was provided by the ISP (Bouygues Entreprises), and it is completely locked. I have contacted this company, and I am allowed to keep the device. But they cannot provided me the login and password.
Currently, I cannot connect to the router through Ethernet, and I have no console cable (maybe I could make one, if necessary).
When I reset the device, the configuration remains the same.
To unlock it, I have read that a .cfg file could be written on an USB key, for it to be loaded during the reset. But I am new with Cisco devices and I do not know how to build such a file.
Should anybody post me a simple configuration file I could use (maybe a connection through Internet, Router = DNS = 192.168.1.1, Mask = 255.255.255.0, Login / Password = Cisco / cisco) so I could connect to the router and setup it?
Also, we are a small company and we cannot pay for the hemp.
Thanks in advance for the help.
