Hello! I need to connect two SG500s via a 4-port LAG. Each switch should have a different default VLAN, and I need to trunk all VLANs over the LAG. I'm a bit new to this, so I want to make sure of something: When I create a LAG through the web interface, it appears that it becomes a VLAN trunk by default - is that correct?
Hi Dereck, correct, all ports are trunk by default. A LAG is no different than configuring a single port in terms of VLANs. Once you create the LAG, you can configure the LAG interface with the desired VLAN just as you would a single port.
