Re: Cisco-SG300-28P crashed

Mohd,

Just saw a post from Cisco, copied below, you may want to stick with 1.1.2.0 for now:

[ 7/4/2012 - Product Alert – MR Release 1.2.5.70 for the Series 200, 300, and 500 Switches

Please  note we have identified a potential issue with the 1.2.5.70 update for  the Series 200, 300, and 500 switches. As a precautionary measure, we  have taken down the 1.2.5.70 release while we determine the  cause of  the issue, severity, and scope. We will either re-post the release or  post an updated version depending on the outcome of our analysis.   Please check back at the Download Center for updates]

Hi Mohd,

Did you upgrade the firmware recently on the switch?

Cisco-SG300-28P crashed

Hi Mohd, Brian,

Looks like this is a common issue with the new firmware. This is already the 3rd thread I've seen on this exact error as you see in the other thread Brian pointed out. It seems like reloading the firmware works in some cases, and it may be a browser issue when updating the firmware over web gui. Maybe someone at SBSC can give some further info?

Best,

David

Cisco-SG300-28P crashed

Hi Brian and David,

Thank you for your reply ans really appreciated it. I upgrade the firmware on last weekend and maybe this https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3671340#3671340 help me too. What action should i need to do? downgrading the firmware ?

Re: Cisco-SG300-28P crashed

Hi Mohd,

What browser did you use for the firmware upgrade?

You can rollback to the earlier firmware, which was stable. If you would like to try and re flash the new firmware, you can use the instructions I posted in the other thread to do it by CLI to avoid any of the browser issues, or I hear that IE 8 seems to work well for this.

Best,

David
