I have 4 switches stacked with a ring configuration and multimode fiber transceivers.
My question is the following:
1) I must add another switch to the configuration but I cannot insert it correctly into the ring stack config because I can't close the ring with this new switch. I can only reach the ring with 1 single mode fiber. Can I connect it like this ?
2) If I can add it as a standalone switch connected to the ring can I connect it with a single mode fiber (so on 1 switch of the ring I have 1 single mode transceiver and 2 multimode?
