CLI for SE2010

Hi Team,

We just purchased this device and was curious if the firmware 3.0.2.0 or 3.0.1.0 has the CLI functionality like the Sx300 models with 1.1.2.0.  I find it easier to configure via CLI then the WebUI.

Please advise.

Hello Eisada,

There is a backdoor CLI for the SGE/SFE2000/2010 switches. However, the feature is unsupported and not recommended to use. Additionally, if you enable the CLI view on the console, there is not an exit command to go back to the menu driven supported configuration.

To access this configuration you can telnet to the switch (if you enable Telnet under the Bonjour tab) or console the switch. Authenticate as you normally would.

Press  ctrl+z  at the same time then type LCLI and hit enter. This will toggle the CLI and a 'normal login'.
