Configured from console on SG500

Hello,

I have a few SG500 Switches in the network for L2 access along with a bunch of bigger Cisco switches.

On the Cisco switches, when we get off the config mode, a logging messages shows up, something like the below.

%SYS-5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by vty0

When logging systems does a few operations like generating config difference etc when it sees this log message.

However, on the SG500, there is no log message when we exit out of the "Config mode". I have tried enabling some stuff but nothing seemed to have worked.

Is there a way to achieve this on the SG500, Any alternate suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in Advance

Victor.

Hi Victor, to my recollection the switch doesn't have the same logging facilities as the Catalysts.

You may want to consider setting up AAA features to log access by user.
