Ethernet Cable Minimum Length

I have two SRW2048 switches.  I see the admin guide has maximum cable length requirements, but are there minimum length requirements between devices as well?  I've heard about a 2.5m minimum length but don't know if that is always true, or only sometimes true.  In particular the following combinations are of interest to me:

Switch <-> PC

Switch <-> Switch

Switch (LAG) <-> Switch (LAG)

Normally the Switch <-> PC length will be long, but in a few instances I have servers in the same room as the switches, so the cables are sometimes shorter.  LAG <-> LAG lengths are short because the switches are next to each other on the rack.  Are the requirements likely to change with other brands or models of switch?
