File extension for download backup configuration sg300-10

i want to download an backup of the configuration file of my Cisco sg300-10 but do not know what to call the file extension.. backup.??? backup.img? backup.ros ?

Hello Andrea,

The configuration file for the Sx300 series is saved as a text file (.txt). You can open the to both view and modify the configuration.

You will go to Administration > File Management > Download/Backup Configuration. From there you select Backup and then hit save. It will prompt you to save the file.
