GLC SX MM on cisco small business switches

Hi, I have two small business cisco 200 series switches connected through RJ-45 link. NOw, I want to establish a fiber link between the switches on one of my combo ports. I have GLC SX MM and GLC SX MMD module available already in my office. During some study, I came to know that for Cisco small business MGBSX1 is better rather than GLC SX MM. If I use GLC SX MM on my cisco small business switches whether the port comes up or I should go with MGB series transiever modules. I also saw a post which says: " Cisco traditional SFP may be recognized by Cisco Small Business switches and function, but this deployment is not supported by Cisco."

Brother, If you already have the Fibre Modules available, then connect them and test. Always learning by expriment gives more knowledge. Use show inventory raw command to check if Switch is detecting the Fibre Module or Not.
