How do I getthe management VLANs between a 6509 and a Linksys 2048 to talk?

I have a core 6509 set up with the management VLAN as VLAN 2 with an IP address of 172.19.1.1/24.  I set up a Linksys SRW2048 also using VLAN 2 as the management VLAn using 172.19.1.201/24.  I am able to trunk all my VLANS but can't access or ping from the 6509 to the Linksys or the other way.

Any ideas?

On the 2048, are you tagging all additional vlans?  Perhaps the vlan 2 is not being allowed to propagate ...

By default the additional vlans are excluded on some models, and are not set to tagged.

The Linksys switch runs only standards based protocols, so assuming all the trunking is set up correctly, all vlans ought to be able to traverse the links.
