Nexus 1000V

Hi

I have 5 clusters in a data center running with VMware dv switch and standard switches .All are E.P licences. I am planning to create nexus 1000v switch and migrate all of the cluster networks to Nexus 1000v switch . since Nexus 1000v is most advanced and HA standby VSM feature as well fo 100% network up..

Now My questions are

1.Running 5 cluster under one nexus switch is best practice ?

2. was there ant draw backs ,risks ?

(all the clusters have same vLans ,mgmt network ,subnet ,shared data stores)

suggestions If any

Nexus 1000V

Dear Customer,

Thank you for reaching the Small Business Support Community.

I am afraid the Nexus1000v is not considered a Small Business product and therefore I suggest you to inquire about your concern on the proper Cisco Community site;

https://communities.cisco.com/community/technology/datacenter/nexus1000v

Thank you for your time and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,
