I can't update my SG200-18 from 1.3.7.xx to the latest firmware 220.127.116.11. I downloaded the firmware package from Cisco and tried to install it to my device via https and tftp. On both methods the copying of the image stops at nearly 7mb and I got an error-message that the file is oversized.
What can I do now?
Thank's in advance!
One other point, not all firmware files contain the boot code. You need to find a version that is zipped, this will have both. For example the current firmware version is 18.104.22.168, but this comes as a .ros file. 22.214.171.124 has both files - .ros and .rfb. And still true that you need to use TFTP for the boot code, reboot the switch (takes quite a while), then upload the switch firmware, set it to active and reboot again..
