SRW2048 and LACP

I bought this switch in 2006. The Hardware Version is 00.03.10. Software: 1.0.0.50.

I will be soon attaching a new Server 2008 to it with HP NIC's and Network Adapter Teaming Software.

I know the HP teaming software automatically will use LACP (802.3ad) if it detects it on the switch. Is this switch firmware at a level that is will support this automatic feature? Or do I need to configure it manually. What is best?

Any resource you could point me to regarding this topic would help.

Hello,

I do not know the 'best' firmware for HP teaming NICs ... but I would suggest to upgrade to the latest. Perhaps another on this community has additional perspective ...
