Switch deffective

Hello ,

We have some trouble with our cisco Small Businnes SF300.

after an electricity failure the switch won't start again the system led is blinking but there is no link ont he fast/gigabit port and nothing can be done.

This is the second one with this probleme and on one of them I've connect the console cable an I see this message :

MAC address is not valid, you can't use multicast or broadcast address.

asking me to put the serial number , revision number ....

Anyone already had this kind of problem ? this is very strange.

Hi Lionel, please do not do anything with this switch at this time.

I have seen this 4 or 5 times in the past. I will reach out to the product management since the switch is currently in this state.

Please do not do anything to this switch. I'll try to get back to you quickly.
