Switch power problems?

Hi all,

We have a Cisco Catalyst 2960S-48FPS-L switch (in stack) up and running in our organisation. After a planned (maintenance) downtime period, this specific switch does not come up: no status/link lights; nothing. While we had moving almost all (80/90%) networkcables from the defect switch to a working one: suddenly the switch boots-up. After it boots-up, the switch (again 100% filled with phones/pc’s) is running stable for several weeks. We experience this problems two times with the same switch.

Just wondering, if anyone has experienced the same symptoms with the 2960’

We are still running IOS version 12.2(55)SE3. What do you thing: hardware or IOS-issue?

Can you post the output to the command "sh post"? 

I presume you've checked and made sure the power cable is secure and the power outlet where this switch is connected to is working fine?
