Hi Singow,

Could you please open a case with SBSC and ask them to escalate the case to L2? We do have a firmware version 1.2.0.83 that fixes your upgrade issue.

Thank you,

Marcelo

Hello singow hsu,

When you go to Administration > File Management > Active Image and you select the non-active image to be the actove one, what does the Active Image After Reboot and Active Image Version Number After Reboot fields display? Also, I know this is basic question, but do you click Apply before rebooting?

For your Q2, can you type out exactly what the error is showing?

Hello Joshua Roeder,

of course, I click Apply before rebooting.

and the firmware info after rebooting is:

             Firmware Version (Active Image): 1.2.0.81

             Firmware Version (Non-active): 1.2.9.44

one thing i don't understand is  i have to set my default password again when login to GUI after reboot.

error messgae for my Q2:

0
Copy failed
Copy: Illegal software format

thanks again.

Hi Singow, this switch should have never shipped with 1.2.0.81. I'd recommend you call the SBSC and ask them to fix it or RMA the switch.

Hi Marcelo, I have upgrade the firmware first to 1.2.0.83. and after that , everything is ok.

Thank you.

Hi singow_hsu,

is it possible for you to send me this firmware? I'm having the same issue that you had. I can't switch firmware or upgrade my switch.

Thanks.

Jimmy
