Aironet 1242 AG configuration problems

So recently I acquired 5 of the above devices to deploy in my office. Hardware seems fine, it assigns its self an IP address on the network, yet I cannot connect to the AP using the web interface (the manual made it look like this was all you had to do) instead I get nothing when I try to log on. It is clearly there, as I can see it on the network, and I can ping it and get a response. Any help configuring these APs would surely be appreciated.

There's a possibility the APs

There's a possibility the APs are running controller-based IOS.   If this is the case it is very, very easy to convert APs back to autonomous mode.  Just read this:  Using a TFTP Server to Return to a Previous Release

Where do I get this software

Where do I get this software release file? I'm sorry about the questions, I'm new to enterprise grade devices (my last AP was the WRT1900AC)
