Hi

I found a document how to configure access point as a repeater, but in practical the commands in CLi didn't work, Needed to extend the radio range The Aironet extensions in enable by default with use of UC500.

Does AP 521G support the repeater function??

Regards

Hello Humma,

The 521APs does not support any of the other access modes. Access Point only.

The other APs like the 1130AG does have the ability to be configured as a Repeater or Workgroup Bridge. I have only done this with 1130s, but I wonder if you could use an 1130AG as the repeater/WGB and use the 512AP as the AP out in the area you need coverage.

I do not have a 521AP to test. I found this article in Ciscowiki that could provide you with configurations or possibilities.

Hope this helps.
