Currently have a case open with Microsoft as we are having radius authentication issues through our WAP 321 devices. We are trying to use MAC address based authentication by creating AD accounts and using network policy sever but MS documentation states the account names in AD need to be in the format as specified by the access point vendor (cisco in this case).
Does anyone know the correct format for account names and has anyone come accross issues trying to setup mac based radius authentication?
We are on the latest firmware. Any help much appreciated as I need to get back to MS.
Let me know if anythings unclear but hope this makes sense
