I've bought two WAP551 devices and I wanted to setup them in a cluster mode. After a initial setup I've noticed a bunch of issues with poor range, speed drops, disconnecting - sometimes I can't connect when I'm 2 meters away from access point. Next issue is that it's not possible to connect AP when I'm 6m away from AP (with only one wall between me and AP). I've also have an old TP link device - signal is steady and performance is good.
What settings should I check? Channels are free of other AP, mode is "802.11 b/g/n", channel bandwidth 20/40MHz. PoE is taken from Cisco switch. Should I disable cluster mode and setup WDS (I want the same SSID on both AP)?
