WAP561 not joining single point set up cluster.

I am trying to add 2 x WAP561 AP's to a single point set up cluster that I already have running on 2 x WAP561's. The problem is that whilst the new WAP's accept the cluster name  none of the clusters configurations details are updated, such as SSID and security settings.

I have tested this on both new units and have the same result therefore I assume I am missing something rather than hardware issues.

Any advice is welcome.

I have exact same problem.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance.

I had this same problem.  As it turned out the firmware on the newer APs was newer than the old APs.  I had to update the firmware on the old APs.  Keep in mind, the settings you have in your existing APs will be lost (at least mine were).  So I had to start over from scratch.  I wrote down all the MAC addresses I had entered.

I hope this helps.
