Wireless WAP551-WAP561 integration with Aironet 1520-1550
Im working on a design to bring a Wireless network to a small neighborhood.
The idea is to create a mesh network with Aironets 1520s and following the sugestion from a Cisco Engineer, extend the Wireless network INSIDE the users houses with Cisco 1530 APs.
But recently but have been informed that the budget for the Wireless inside the Houses is very reduced.
So im looking for and alternative in the Small Bussines family.
We keep the Aironets 1520s in the streets but i want to know if i can receive the signal with a Smal Bussines WAP551 or WAP561, and redistribute this signal inside the house.
I also have the doubt if i need the Small Business to support dual band (1 to receive the signal and another to redistribute it inside the house) or if its just necesary to use this AP as a Repeater (i think in this case i could use another model of AP like the WAP121)
Does anyone has experience with this type of scenary???

their clustered access points from the main access point. The basic steps
to accomplish this is:1) Download th...
