Smart Call Home takes different Cisco device messages across different timezones and tries to correlate them on the back-end. Having the devices send in their messages using GMT+0 is the easiest solution.
The solution does not really take into consideration that humans want to read the call home messages before the Cisco Smart Call Home back-end processes them. They were designed to be computer readable.
