I know this is probably and easy question, but I have no experience with MDS switches:
I have two MDS switches that will need some support done.
I will not be there to log into the switches.
Is it an easy task to set up a second username and password with admin privileges for the support person to get in, so I do not have to give them the Admin username and password that Ciscoworks and everything else is using?

You can create an user2 and add this user user2 to the role "network-admin".

Thanks for the reply.
Have you ever seen an issue where you can log into the the MDS using the local administrator account using the network-admin role only if you have an etherent connection to the LAN the switch is on?
When the etherenet is disconnected, you cannot authenticate using the management or serial ports.
