in principle, yes, of course ! but it depends which OS, which protocol: FC, iSCSI, .....

Boot from SAN generally requires block level protocol such as iSCSI or FC/FCOE, which the B200M4 supports.

You do need to confirm the OS you are going to attempt to do this with has enic/fnic drivers available.
