can I use an MDS 9216 for my CCIE Datacenter lab?

I have 2 x MDS 9216 switches available for my CCIE Datacenter lab.

Both chassis have standard 16 x Fiber Channel ports available and are equipped with line card DS-X9308-SMIP (Cisco MDS 9000 Family 8-port 1GE IP Storage Services Module).

The official Lab exam "equipment list" --> https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/docs/DOC-13968 suggests using MDS 9222i devices.

I am wondering if I will be able to test all the features described in the lab exam topics --> https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/docs/DOC-13992

--> Cisco Storage Networking

---->Implement Fiber Channel Protocols Features

------>Implement Port Channel, ISL and Trunking

------>Implement VSANs

------>Implement Basic and Enhanced Zoning

------>Implement FC Domain Parameters

------>Implement Fiber Channel Security Features

------>Implement Proper Oversubscription in an FC environment

---->Implement IP Storage Based Solution

------>Implement IP Features including high availability

------>Implement iSCSI including advanced features

------>Implement SAN Extension tuner

------>Implement FCIP and Security Features

------>Implement iSCSI security features

------>Validate proper configuration of IP Storage based solutions

I believe I will be able to test all features asked ... but I am not that into storage yet, so it would be nice if someone could confirm this.

We can emulate the entire CCIE DC rack (as mentioned in Cisco's Blueprint) at home with virtualization (VMWare Workstation, vCenter, vSphere, vMWare ESXi etc) as we can for R & S and SP. If so, please guide how to do it. Cisco 400-051 Test
