Hi Guru's,
Is there a equivalent to porterrshow command available in Brocade FOS.
Its extremely difficult to isolate SFP issues with sh int fc. Since this display port by port info and is equivalent to portshow in Brocade FOS.
Appreciate if someone can jot down the first few commands required to troubleshoot issues on the MDS platform.
Thanks Everyone.

Do you want/mean: show interface brief
That command quickly indicate port status.
Using: show interface transceiver
displays transceiver states.
Beyond the normal for analysis, you can attach the module (attach module x) for the port where the problem is located and then use:
show port-config internal link-events
to display details flow of states.
Also details to de port relevant states could help (in attache module mode):
show logging onboard error-stats port x
Keep in mind and use your common sense for errors. No light/cable is no connection and so on.

Hi Peter,
Thanks a ton for the response. I will try the attach module today.
Correct me if I'm wrong show interface brief does not give me a overview of the errors.
This is the o/p of porterrshow, do you think its useful command??? Let me know your views.

There is no equiv for porterrshow. However, it you were to consider portstatsshow or portstats64show, the cisco sho int
porterrshow is nice for a very quick look at your switch.
One thing you might miss is fabstateshow.
