I'd like to upgrade the OS on our W2k3 to W2K8 64-bit via virtual machine. First, is it possible to run Cisco Fabric and Device Manager under VM 2K8 64-bit? Has there been any issues reported running these tools, on VM?
Thanks

Hi
Not a direct answer, but I've run them under VirtualBox for testing purposes and all has been fine.
I assume the VM farm in question doesn't get it's storage via the SAN you propose to manage with this fabric manager instance?

Hi Steven
Thank you for the quick response. A great question to ask my Storage Admins and VM Admins. I will get back to you.
Thanks
