Can anyone point me to examples of how to configure a 3750G switch for connection to an EMC Celerra?
We have it with a base configuration right now, but we are experiencing major drops between our servers and the EMC Celerra when running backups. EMC cannot find any problems with the EMC configuration and we can't find any issue on the switch.
The 3750G attaches to the rest of the network via a 6509 core switch.
Thanks,

So, the servers are attaching to the EMC who is acting as a NAS head? Is this a new install? Are you experiencing the drops at the tcp or NBT over IP level? If you don't know, can you install ethereal on one of the servers and sniff the connection? The thing that will hurt the most is if there is a device that in at half-duplex. If this is the case, then you will see collisions incrementing. So, in this case, you would hard set every speed and duplex.

John,
Did you have any luck correcting this or finding EMC to Cisco connection documentation? We are concerned about our NAS's network performance, but haven't fouind a document specific to the celerra.
Thanks,
Ron
