Error messages on 5248

I am new to this product and trying to configure our 5248 router,

I saw devices through "show devices" on 5248,

I configured router instance, scsi target, access list, But on the 5248 router, I saw following errors:

No server found to handle connection xxx.xxx.23.156:1026<->10.10.10.101:3260

On the iscsi client, (Solaris 9) I saw following errors:

Mar 16 01:38:21 prague iscsid[136]: login I/O error, failed to receive a PDU

Mar 16 01:39:21 prague iscsid[136]: short PDU header read from socket 1: Connection reset by peer

And "netstat -n" show NO iscsi connections, although

I can ping 10.10.10.101 (the 5248 GE1 interface) from

the solaris client and vice versa. There is only one

valid entry in /etc/iscsi.conf:

DiscoveryAddress=10.10.10.101

Any idea where should I start the troubleshooting of

this configurations?

Thanks for your kind helps!

Re: Error messages on 5248

This error message might be seen if you have an administrative IP address assigned to the ge1 interface that is the same as the IP address assigned to your server. Make sure that the scsirouter server address is not the same as ip address assigned to ge1 for administration. This should resolve the issue.
