We exported a active zoneset as part of our backup procedure using:

>zone copy vsan x active-zoneset tftp://xxx/xyz.txt

How do we import this text file and activate the zones within this file?

If you really felt the need to, you could import your zones in the command line. However the easiest way to create a new Zone and Zoneset is to use fabric manager. This is gui based, and will greatly simplify things and reduce errors in your configurations.

You can find step by step documentation here -
