Invalid command (unexpected token) at '^' marker ?

Hi,

I haven't see this before, but the swwn is invalid because g is is not hex.

Try using the wwn in the output of 'show interface fc1/26'.

show interface fc1/26

fc1/26 is down (SFP not present)

    Hardware is Fibre Channel

    Port WWN is 20:c1:00:0d:ec:a2:1e:00 <-------

What version of NX-OS gave you the unexpected token message?

This is the response at NX-OS 5.2(2)....

9513-2(config-fcalias)# member interface fc1/1 swwn 20:00:00:0c:cc:g8:21:c1

                                                                               ^

% Invalid command at '^' marker.

(Where ^ is under the g)

Regards,

David.

Hi,

I'm sorry, I suggested using the fwwn of fc1/26.

You probably want the swwn of the switch.

9513-2(config-fcalias)# show wwn switch

Regards,

David
