We are establishing a new network to connect our iSCSI SAN to our servers. These switches (3560's) will be used for nothing but iSCSI. Based on what I have read, we need to enable the jumbo frames. From what I have seen, this can only be enabled for the whole switch. Can it be enabled for individual ports? What else needs to be configured on the switches for iSCSI to work correctly?
You don't have to enable jumbo frames, but yes it is recommended. It has to be set switch wide like you say. There are no special settings on the ethernet switch for iSCSI. You route/switch iSCSI just as you would other types of traffic.
