MDS 9500 sup-1 vs sup-2

Does anyone know of a doc which describes the differences? Thanks.

Re: MDS 9500 sup-1 vs sup-2

There are a few good white papers that cover 2nd gen MDS products,

http://cco.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/ps5990/products_white_paper0900aecd8044c7f3.shtml

On Sup2:

- required for 9513, optional in 9509 & 9506

- GigE mgmt interface

- Enhance QoS

- ASIC consolidation -> fewer ASICs & more function.

- Must use different images than Sup 1

- more port indexes. A Sup-2 in 9509 can support more ports than a Sup-1, e.g. can now go to 336 ports with 7 x 48 port linecards.

- uses rear xbar modules when in 9513

- redundant bootflash on board
