MDS and Nagios

Does anyone use Nagios for performance monitoring of MDS's?

I am looking for configration samples.

G'day,

Not with nagios for performance (availability yes!). For performance I use MRTG with a nice php interface that performs a snmp query on each port to get the description etc and display it all nice and pretty :)

I also have used cacti but this is a little more complicated to setup and maintain.

Its pretty easy! All you need to do is setup snmp on the switch and then run the mrtg command "configmaker" :)

oss.oetiker.ch/mrtg/

There is nothing really special for the MDS'
