MDS9xxx Configuration file "get" using ftp from an external server

I am familiar with logging into the MDS9xxx device with telnet and copying files off to an external server via tftp and the like.

Is it possible to drive this functionality from the external server, rather then the MDS9xxx device?

I would like to be able to use ws_ftp on an external server to login to the MDS9xxx device and go and get the configuration file.

I would like to "get" vs. "put".

Is this possible?

G'day,

Not via ftp but you can setup ssh keys and "copy tftp://blahblah.com/blah.conf bootflash://blah.conf"

that sorta thing :)

Cheers

Andrew
