nfs appliance and fcoe

I heard that there is no vpc support for nfs appliance and ucs can support static and lacp, is this true?

for fcoe, if we activiate feature fport-channel-trunk, does it show a line in interface saying: san-port-channel state: trunking, or there is other way to prove it?

how can we prove feature npiv is enabled, if we see in interface level, the port mode is vntag, can we say npiv is enabled?

thanks

Greetings.

Run #show int brief, which should also list your san port channels (with Admin Trunk Mode field)

#show int port-channel x  will also tell you the trunk mode is (off/on)

#show running-config, see if feature npiv is listed.

On later versions of UCSM, with FCOE uplinks, trunking is the only option (you don't actually have vsan drop down assignment list).

Thanks,

Kirk...
