Please sorry this very newbie question.

Hello people

Again, please sorry this question I'm very new in this Emerging Technologie.

I Wish to know the difference between Fiber Channel and Fiber.

I assume please do not laught, That a Bundle of Fiber ports conform a Fiber Channel am I Right ?

Can anyone point me a good web site where I can find this difference

Fibre Channel is a technology/protocol for networking Storage. See http://www.t11.org/index.html for all the standards. Fibre is either Multi Mode(orange) Or Single(yellow) and is the actual fiber Optic cable used in Storage area Networks to connect switches, storage and Host systems together.
