I have not tried but can i configure a port channel with just one interface ? I have a 9513 that will be connected to 9222i over DWDM link. Right now we only have one link but in the near future we are going to add a second link, so ideally i would like to portchannel the two. If my memory services me right when you configure portchannel, it brings ports offline temporarily. I would like to avoid any fabric disruption to the existing link so i was thinking of creating a portchannel that only consists of one link and then when the second link becomes available simply add it to portchannel on the fly. What do you guys think ?
