Serial No s for 9134s

Hi All

Trying to find the serial nos of a couple of 9134s.

Been on the boxes CLIs and the 'show hardware'

command seems to produce the serial no-

Switch type is : MDS UROS 9134 FC (1 Slot) Chassis

  Model number is DS-C9134-K9

  H/W version is 6.0

  Part Number is 73-10972-06

  Part Revision is B0

  Manufacture Date is Year 11 Week 44

  Serial number is FOX114416JJ

  CLEI code is COM9210ARA

From that i would assume the Serial no is FOX114416JJ

But our records say otherwise

Methinks the records are wrong - am i right

Steve, these 2 commands will show the SN

show license host-id

show inventory

In addation to Jeremy, you can also do a:

show sprom backplane 1

You'll see the serial number in there. There is a secondary serial that sometimes OSM's like to have. You can find this by either looking at the front or bottom of the switch or running the following command

show sprom supervisor
