I need to know which MDS native features are lost after setting interop mode 3.

I'd appreciate to have a document describing this.

Thanks,

Regards,

Igor

There is a Switch to Switch Interop Guide on CCO specific to interop 3 is at

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/storage/san_switches/mds9000/interoperability/guide/ICG_im3.html

The only MDS feature I know of that you loose is

Enhanced Zoning on the Inteorp VSAN. Any native MDS VSANs in the same switch would not be impacted. You can trunk the Inteorp VSAN across a port-channel to other MDS. There is no trunking to/from the Brocade though.

Hope this helps,

Mike
