Hello All

Following warnings are streaming for numerous ports on a Cisco MDS-9509 switch. Please let me know if it's of concern. Why are these warnings streaming. Is it due to port-monitor policy? How do we stop these warnings from streaming?

%SNMPD-4-WARNING: SNMP log warning : PMON: BBCredit not available for port fcx/xx(1xa4000) for 10 percent of time (Rising) [event id 4 threshold 10 sample 2 object 14]

%SNMPD-4-WARNING: SNMP log warning : PMON: BBCredit not available for port fcx/xx(1xa4000) for 0 percent of time (Falling) [event id 4 threshold 0 sample 2 object 14]

Please advise

Thanks

Chetan

Chetan,

Seems your fabric is facing some congestions sometimes.

Take some time to look the oversubscription of your SAN network, maybe some changes could be very welcome.

Did you already using extended BB credits?
